Christopher's lake evening series Match 2

Weds evening series results -

Once again 18 anglers lined up for this series in conditions that were hardly of a summer nature. This was reflected in the results which were very low for June.

Silvers were hard to come by with odd carp needed to bump your weight up.Rich Box found two larger carp to take top spot, with Kai Hurley in 2nd.

So the warm weather we were hoping for arrived but the 18 anglers still had their work cut out with bright and flat calm conditions.

1st Steve Sewell did well from peg 15 with some nice carp and silvers to win the match,

Weds evening series results

This was match 4 in the series of 6 and was a nice warm evening with a little breeze.16 anglers took part with the weights up on recent weeks. Ricky Jee recorded his first match win for the club, well done Staying on the feeder in what can be a troublesome peg 21Not far behind was Andy Lord with some carp and a nice Tench from carp corner 19Elliot Box did well on peg 14 for 3rd

Overcast and breezy conditions awaited the 14 anglers that fished this match. That being said, we still had to work hard to put some fish in the net, it wasn't clear till the weigh in who had come where.

Rich Box took top spot with mostly carp with Robin McCann just behind.

Christopher's evening match series results

This was a series of 6 matches fished on Wed's evening's and was well attended with up to 18 anglers on some nights.

As well as winning money on the night there is also a trophy that gets handed over at end of the year.

The trophy is for the angler with most points over the 6 weeks, points are awarded for every angler you beat on the evening.

This year it was close but Phil Bond takes top spot, we'll done Phil
